FIFA 16 is a soccer game, coming to PC and consoles September 15th 2015. EA Sports hopes this year's game addresses gameplay complaints about
Magic and risk
The three pillars of soccer, attack, defense, and midfield, have been redesigned for FIFA 16, with the aim of improving gameplay, balance, and forcing you to take risks to win.
For example, defenders have more ways to stop forwards like Ronaldo and Messi, who felt invincible in FIFA 15. The midfield should be busier this year, more like a real game of football, and if you're good enough you'll be able to dribble the ball almost without touching it, like Messi does.
All of these developments come with a serving of risk. It won't be easy to play like Messi, for example, but it'll be worth it if you manage to do so. Much like in the real game, the satisfaction of doing something incredible will come after a number of mistakes!
Personal soccer trainer
If you have problems controlling your FIFA 16 players, there's a neat new feature to help - FIFA Trainer. This organic help feature can be turned on or off whenever you like. When activated, it will suggest possible moves to you, in game. When you've learnt what it suggests, FIFA Trainer will start suggesting more complex moves.
The idea behind this is to stop you relying on the same moves over and over again, therefore making you a better all-round player. Whether this will actually work, we'll have to wait and see.
FIFA 16 is looking good
From what we have seen so far, we're hopeful that FIFA 16 will be the soccer game this generation deserves.
